Harry Potter: The Exhibition Social Media Policy

This User Generated Content License Agreement (“Agreement”) is by and between Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. (“Warner Bros.”) and Imagine Exhibitions, Inc., together with their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies (collectively, “Company Group”), and you or the organization you represent (“you” or “Participant”).

In consideration for Company Group permitting you to submit your content, content descriptions, and social profile information (“User Generated Content”) to Company Group’s social media pages and platforms, you hereby acknowledge and agree that by submitting User Generated Content or responding with either ‘yes’ or ‘#YesHarryPotterExhibition’ to Company Group’s authorization request, you shall be bound by this Agreement. For clarity, any response of ‘yes’ (in any format) shall constitute acceptance of this Agreement. If you do not agree to all of the terms of this Agreement, do not submit User Generated Content or reply to our authorization request. If you are entering into this Agreement on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to do so. 

Our community is welcome and encouraged to engage, share stories and memories, discuss viewpoints, and ask questions on our social media platforms.  Imagine Exhibitions is committed to maintaining an accessible, informative, and civil space for the benefit of its community members.  Therefore, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to hide, delete, limit, or restrict distribution on our social media platforms of any content that we believe is contrary to the interests of our user community, and we shall have no liability to you or any third party for any such actions , including any comments containing any of the below (and to block or ban users who post such content):

  • Hateful or discriminatory messages of any kind, including but not limited to those that attack or demean a person’s race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic, as well as any defamatory statements, personal attacks, harassment, threats, or trolling directed at any other community member or third party 
  • Messages that include violent, vulgar, obscene, explicit, or graphic content, and any message that promotes, encourages, or facilitates illegal activities or violations of applicable laws
  • Messages that contain false, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent information, including but not limited to misinformation, disinformation, or content that may cause confusion or harm to other users
  • Messages expressing opinions in uncivil, disrespectful, or unnecessarily provocative terms, including but not limited to personal attacks, defamatory statements, or inflammatory comments about specific individuals or groups
  • Advertisements, solicitations, endorsements, commercial content, or any content intended to promote products, services, or business interests, whether direct or indirect, without Company Group’s prior written authorization 
  • Spam, automated messages, messages posted by fake or impersonating accounts, or any content intended to artificially increase engagement or manipulate platform metrics 
  • Messages that infringe on any intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights of Company Group or any third party.
  • Messages that focus on controversial political, social or other issues, including health and safety measures

As a valued member of our community, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the following additional terms and conditions:

Social media channels are monitored by a small team of staff periodically during regular business hours, excluding holidays. Content shared outside those times will be reviewed as time allows during regular business hours. While Company Group uses reasonable efforts to review shared content and address questions and requests in a timely manner, Company makes no guarantees regarding response times and reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, or moderate any shared content. Please note that some messages can take longer to resolve.
